Synth-happy new wave revivalist Ezra Reich self-released his first album, Freeze the Night, in 2003. Thanks to AOL's First Break program, thousands of online listeners downloaded "Behind the Scenes," one of the songs from the album. Later that year, Tommy Hilfiger licensed the song for use in a marketing campaign for one of his clothing lines.
