This plugin allows to play mp3PRO files with full quality. The new mp3PRO format combines mp3 with Coding Technologies' Spectral Band Replication (SBR) technology. Using SBR avoids the usual bandwidth limitation for low bitrate coding. Thus the mp3PRO format offers full audio bandwidth without annoying artifacts, even at bitrates below 64 kbit/sec.
