Official VQF Winamp Plugin - The official plugin to play VQF files in Winamp!

This plugin allows you all of the capabilities of MP3, including ID tags, seeking, etc. VQF files are 25-35% smaller than most MP3's and have higher audio fidelity! Check out VQF.com for more info on VQF.

For those that don't know, VQF compression is a more efficient means of taking large WAV files and making them smaller. Similar to MP3... except 30% or so smaller file size, and arguably better sound quality. Install this plug in, restart winamp, and head to www.vqf.com to download some sample VQF files to try this out for yourself. I personally didn't notice a ton of audio quality difference (I didn't really listen for too long tho)...but, I do know that smaller files are better...that alone is worth the download I think. -dg
