Control pitch and tempo independently
This is a very functional and useful tempo/pitch DSP plugin. You can alter the tempo and pitch independent of one another...so, you can have the song's BPM be one thing, and you can have the song's pitch be something completely different. The 'speed' lever also gives some interesting results. There is a preferences menu where you can set slider precision as well as hotkey increments. The interface is very straightforward and useful, not very impressive visually...but, it gets the job done

Works pretty good, but the design sux (dont know if it's possible to change), and the most anoying of all is that it lacks a closing button, and auto launches when winamp starts.

Don't Like Pacemaker

Pacemaker was cool at first when I downloaded it. But later on it kept crashing WinAmp all the time. I recommend you DO NOT download it, for the sake of preventing ctrl+alt+delete to be used millions of times.

Its a wonderfull plugin, as i try to play my favourite songs with the guitar, i can try playing it slower first, thats very good.

I love this thing. I cannot stop using it on all my songs. Plus, it downloaded in an instant, even with my hampster-on-a-wheel modem! Good, good, work!

i spent god knows how long looking for a mp3 player that could slow down my songs so i could learn the parts by guitar!...hunted up and down, downloaded and deleted numerous silly players and they all sucked, all were shareware where u could only play the 1st 20 secs of a song or something and then i stumbled onto this plugin...tried it and lifted my hands to the heavens and thanked the lord that such a simple and easy and pleasant to use plugin for my favourite mp3 player actually existed

PaceMaker is one of the best DSP plugins that I have found yet. It's a must have for screwing a song. Only draw-back is that there is not a chopper.

it is the best pitch/speed adjusting plug-in ive found yet, and i only have one thing against it:- if it is left open and you decide to flick through your playlist it tends to crash winamp :/other than that it works fine!!!

AWESOME FOR GUITAR PLAYERS!!

This Rocks!!!!!If you are a guitar player and are practicing cover tunes, you need this plug-in!! I make MP3's of all the songs I am practicing and some are in differnt keys. This lets me change songs that are in the key of D or E-flat into the key of E without changing tempo! So I can play my entire playlist without changing my guitar tunning for certain songs. It also is great for my singer who is following the key the guitar is in. This Kicks Ass!

I would not give this program a good rating because I find that it's kind of useless for most users. The creator should of thought of making something more interesting.Anyways .....WHATEVER!!
