Control pitch and tempo independently
This is a very functional and useful tempo/pitch DSP plugin. You can alter the tempo and pitch independent of one another...so, you can have the song's BPM be one thing, and you can have the song's pitch be something completely different. The 'speed' lever also gives some interesting results. There is a preferences menu where you can set slider precision as well as hotkey increments. The interface is very straightforward and useful, not very impressive visually...but, it gets the job done

doesnt work properly, beat is faster than tempo, crashes my winamp evrytime i use it!

Pacemaker, paired with Slow Me Up, is the perfect tool for learning note-perfect guitar riffs and solos. Always works for me.

One Problem

This Plugin is great! I think it is revolutionary and is acctually something i really wanted to do with mp3s. What is the best about it is that it dosn't make it sound crappy. The only problem is that when you listen to insanely fast songs even faster it seems slow when you put it back to normal speed.

It still contains a lot of bugs- Freezing up Winamp when skipping numbers (this is not a Win2k prob, every other OS has this prob.)- Using to much damned RAM. I got an AMD 900 with 768 RAM and it still uses 80 % of it !!!!!!! Fix This.

Whoever said that he got screwed over by this plug-in, let it be known that it all depends on system. Sure, when I first got this, I got a lot of funky errors, but after a little bit of "tweaking" to my system/options, it's working perfectly now. Just thought I'd like to let people know that so they don't get discoruraged by your post.

sorry, i was expecting somthing much better here, somthing i could use to plug my laptop into my 3rd mixer input and have some fun. but no, this isnt even close yet. unstable, measures on the bars are way too sensitive. but tidy up on a couple of things and it will ready for a 5 star and a 3 way laptop mp3 tagteam

This is a great plugin, mucho fun, but it's unstable. About 10-20% of the time when I try to switch songs, it freezes my whole Winamp. Hopefully the next version will be more stable. Otherwise, great plugin!

I think this has to be the neatest plugin I've ever downloaded. And I am very harsh on ratings. A five star plugin would give you the choice to edit the colors and save presets and so on...

This is a great tool to use for fun but .... more importantly, it proves my theory that the Chipmunks record every song in the world, but then these manipulative record companies steal their songs and slow down the pitch to best fit the recording artist we see on T.V.!!!!!!!!!!!!! You gotta believe me!!!!!!!!!!! It's true!!!!!!!!

not only is this quite a funny little plugin to play around with, it's really usefull for working out the drum and guitar parts of songs to write tabs, because doesn't have to change the pitch.It's great!

Best Damn Pitch Changing plugin and its sooo small in size.. Marks my words..This is definately worth all 5 star (* * * * *) !! yeah something that should be included a standard winamp distribution.. Keep it up!

Screwed me over

This plugin really screwed my computer over. Everytime i would open it, it would select all of my songs and give me an error. I turned off the plugin...didnt change. I restarted my computer...didnt change. I even deleted its files!!!...didnt change. It rendered Winamp, the greatest mp3 player EVER...entirely worthless. STAY AWAY! HISS!
