Winamp Staff Review

Pop-up track change notification window for classic skins (updated version).
Straightforward and nicely designed track-change notification plugin. Displays a pop-up window with the track id3 info... the fading and holding time can be configured. Updated version with better support for internet streams and files without title information.

This plug-in isn't working in new versions of Winamp (5.2x). The player neither opens.

I love the plugin, but it doesn't work properly for me. Reading some of the earlier reviews, I seem to be having a similar problem as some other people were. The popup only pops up sometimes. Mainly when the winamp window has focus, which I'm sure you'll agree, defeats the purpose of the plugin. I hope someone can shed some light. I'd like to get it working properly. I'll still give it a 5.

This is by far the nicest plugin i have ever used. It's customizable in many ways, does what it claims it does (very well i might add) and makes the music selection process much easier when using hidden/docked winamp toolbars/playlists.This plugin beats out the default WA5 modern skin notifications 10 fold by providing much more customization to its look and many more options for display (such as cover tags).

This versoin of the MSN plugin disabled my media buttons on my logitech keyboad solution, something which to me is just plain unacceptable. However, the older version of the msn plugin does not obstruct my logitech keys.

Yesterday I downloaded this plugin for Messenger 7.0, it works great! But today I got Messenger 8.0 and which it doesn't seem to work with.

I got it for my Winamp cause winamp Kicks A** but i would defanitaly get this plug in it's great you can have it pop up any way you want changes font, color, And so much more so go and give it a try. I would give it a 10 star but i can only use 5 star they said no to 10 star oh well. Give it a try today. Also how ever made this you are awsome.

Excellent excellent plugin. Vey slick, no fuss and eye candy.One thing though, an automatic cover search option on the net. There are others that do this but i don\'t want to have a number of other plugins running.

This plugin, when you learn to tweak it, is awesome! It would be handy, however, to have a list of the syntax entries in the formatting section. Otherwise, excellent work!

Undoubtedly, this is the one of the coolest plug-ins I have ever downloaded. The only problem I can point out is this makes winamp slower. However, this has made my winamp life more enjoyable as well. Thanks!!!

If you're looking for a powerful notifier for WinAmp, I can make you sure Toaster is the best:1. you can choose your favourite style or the style that better fits among the pre-installed ones;2. you can set up the duration of your animation and select the animation you like;3. you can format the text, decide where the text has to be displayed;4. you can make skins for the plug-in and you can import them into it so you can easily use 'em;5. you choose what have to be shown (artist name, song title, album title, album cover...) ;What you're waiting for?? Download it! ;)

Clean smooth apperance, nice features and not too cluttered which is often a problem with home made pluggins 'n' things. works well, dose what it says on the tin, congrats shane hird on a nice peice of work.

It doesn't work if we don't have windows mediaplayer 9 or highermsn is not allow to show any title without the microsoft player so ...

This plugin works great!The MSN feature also works like a charm.Since Winamp doesn't not support "Notifiers" for classic skins, Toaster do this work, adding us the possibility to customize the notifier.

The Great and The Error

These features should be included in every default winamp download. You are insane not to get this. It is insanely user configurable. It is kinda hard to get it looking as nicely as the pictures to the left, but as long as you stick with it you will eventually get it exactly how you like it. Someone should make a guide or add a lot more settings that users could send in or get from a site.I have one problem that hasn't been fixed for a year. When I have winamp 5 playing a song with this plugin (only does this with plugin) and I shut down my computer winamp stops the computer from getting shut down with some error that it cant stop the process because windows is shutting down but that dialog popping up stops windows from getting shut down unless I click OK. Is there any fix or a website for this problem? Thanks.

Broke winamp by making it invisible except in the taskbar, + only closeable with task manager. Couldn\'t uninstall and had to remove the files individually as a result. Poor.
