aVis is a standalone audio visualisation compatible with Winamp, all other media players and live audio through lineIN and microphone. aVis 3.0b contains over 20 amazing scenes, now with additional dynamic bluring and strobe lighting effects.aVis allows the user to customise scene transition times, strobe lighting effects, audio input and the response sensitivity of its advanced beat detection algorithm.aVis should run on systems with almost all new graphics cards from the nVidia GeForce2 upwards (or equivalent). aVis REQUIRES JAVA 1.4.2_05 OR LATER FROM WWW.JAVA.COM.

Pretty sweet stuff.
As long as you follow the instructions then this should install fine (it is an external program but makes use of Winamp's output).Some really nice effects in there, shame it's not a native vis plugin ;)
