This one is the best tempo modifier, I have ever used. Many tempo modifier deteriorate the quality of audio. But in this one, sound quality improves especially of music content both bass and tribble. At tempo setting of 59, it rocks.I think you have added flanger effect and bass booster also in this one that is what I felt by listening it.I am not worried about virus even if it is there. My antivirus s/w will take care of it. Virus is nothing against effect this plugin offers.Great Job!!!

I used this plugin for a while and it worked quite well. It did a good job at maintaining the pitch when slowing the tempo down. I stopped using it when AVG started to identify that the plugin contained the Obfustat.TVM virus. Does any one know if the writers of the plugin plan to release a virus free version? I would give the plugin 5 stars if it weren't for the virus issue.

Downloaded twice now, each time antivirus picks up VirTool:Win32/Obfuscator.C."VirTool:Win32/Obfuscator are detections for programs that have had their purpose obfuscated to hinder analysis or detection by anti-virus scanners. They commonly employ a combination of methods including encryption, compression, anti-debugging and anti-emulation techniques."So now I don't dare use it, oh well.

This seems to be the best tempo shifting plugin. While the DSP_SPS shifter does sound better it also shifts the pitch. Procrustes seems to shift the tempo with minimum artifacts, however it has no bypass option. This oversight means that it can still distort when at 100% tempo. The link from this plug-in to the developer is now owned by an unrelated web site. The performance of the other shifters may be influenced by the speed of the computer, and this one claims to be the fastest one available.

This plug-in is awesome. My family has been having a blast with it! Thanks for making it!

Like so many other realtime time stretching algorithms, this suffers from transient smearing which results from processing in the frequency domain, so it isn't as revolutionary as its sounds. That said, it isn't any worse than chronotron. Also the resampling is excellent, it uses band limited interpolation which is theoretically the best method as it can completely eliminate any aliasing.Give it a try, it might suit your needs. To the untrained ear the transient smearing may be inaudible, I know many people who cant hear mp3 artifacts! I'm still waiting for the perfect time stretching algorithm though, if one exists...One idea for the developers, combine time stretching with the resampling and you have a pitch shifter!
