Great amount of configurability options
New this version: runs much smoother...no more screwiness when returning to desktop from fullscreen mode.... more presets added... zoom feature added. At first, it honestly wasn't the most visually astounding plug in I've seen for Winamp... but, the more I started playing with the configurations, the more respect I began to gain for the power and potential of this plug in. This really has some similarities to AVS... you can interact with the visuals and save your own presets. It still lacks the overall complexity you can access with AVS...but, judging on how many versions Pascal has already submitted, I'm almost positive we will be seeing a great deal more for Space in the future. Some very nice presets were included in this version as well. As of now... I was completely entranced by simply choosing some very basic effects and throwing the mirror/vertical effect on. All these functions and much more can be accessed in full screen mode as well as windowed mode by right clicking on the visuals. I have one request to the author: I don't know how possible this would be... but, I think it would be great if the visuals didn't stop moving while you access the configurations.... I found that it was disrupting the trance that I was falling under. Download this one... and if you aren't impressed...try playing with all the configurations. -dg
Very good plugin
Well i have seen the previous versions and i actually saw it before i started playing with AVS.In my opinion it is a great plugin,it runs faster than avs (well maybe because it doesn't make so tough equations like AVS), i haven't experienced any crash problems with it for the half an hour i spent toying with its effects.I really enjoy that option for setting the desired fps-this is what i really need for avs-some presets just run too fast( hey llama fix!i don't want to manually add blurs every time :) A problem really is what the reviewer said-it pauses when pressed to configure, not that it is so important. Also i thing you should try making a separate menu where we can see all the things that are on at the moment and thus be able to turn them off faster. Is it possible to add more than one effect? In the end: i think that it is a great plugin, works fast, doesn't crash much, provides a good amount of interesting features. It would be a great experience for anybody that is new to winamp visualisations, and it would be useful to everybody that wants to start with AVS and wants to see how things work.I think what it misses is a little easier to use interface.I have never created a plugin( i HAVE dedicated the last six months to making AVS presets and will now REPEAT,tho i haven't yet said it:making AVS presets is Not as hard as creating a plugin). That's all.Now download this, please.
