Complete in every way, this skin includes a hefty list of color themes and in innovative tab system on the main display. Mercury has defiantly raised the bar in the world of winamp3 skins.

Thanks everyone for the overwhelming response! Just to address a couple issues, I know there is no stop button, it was a design decision and you can always use the pause button instead. Don't forget to right-click and select "Configure" to help customize the skin, a lot of the themes look much better when you lower the opacity of the glass. Finally, in case anyone is wondering, yes, I'm making a skin for each planet in the solar system. Next in line is Jupiter and it is already well underway with all the features of Mercury and some crazy new features. I look forward to making more skins for you guys!

I do not think it beats MMD3 in usability and design. MMD3 is just the little bit over it. However, this is an absolutely awesome skin. And there is one thing where this skin is superior to MMD3: The different display modes. It is 4:2, where I admit the Mini mode isnt of much use, at least not for me. However, the Stick mode is GREAT. ALL important windows (ie. playlist editor!) can also be displayed as stick. This is where Mercury beats MMD3 in my humble opinion.

This has to be one of the best winamp skins out there. The only problem I have is is with the stick. It is a little too wide. I think you can get rid of the dotty part on the left side of the stick and make it a little smaller.

great skin! This is at the top of my "skins" list. Great job! I'm awaiting you're other skins, it'll be hard to beat this one...Are you doing the entire solar system (maybe the sun too)?

great skin, great features i love stick mode but personally MMD3 is still the king but dont give up Mr Clark Id love to see a skin battle between you and MMD3

Yes! This _is_ an all-time best WA3 skin. (And though Neptune has less bells-and-whistles, it's an excellent design.) Mister Pete Clark, sir: I hope you implement a skin for the rest of the bodies in the solar system, and then lead the search for intelligent skins through the rest of the Milky Way, and beyond.

Yeah, I'm impressed. Everyone thinks MMD3 is better, so I guess I'm in the minority. THIS is now my default skin. This has more innovation than MMD3. The self contained feel is awesome. I like the multiple modes. MMD3 has met its match in my humble opinion. Keep up the good work Pete.

I really don't want to change skins every time I want to use the stop button. Aside from that, it's a cool skin and I look forward to trying out all the color themes. Keep up the good work!

I like your skin has lot of themes but some of them hurt my eyes, you should make a brightness control for the sphere like the zigote skin, i think is a pretty good thing but no1 use it in their skins. Overall is a really good skin, your skin is in my top 3 fighting very close with MMD3. I'm waiting your next skin (jupiter) I also has ur Neptune skin. Keep working you are doing a great job!!!

This skin is awesome, I love all the different color themes and the who style is great. I only have one suggestion - THERE IS NO STOP BUTTON! Unless I somehow missed it, I haven't been able to find a stop button. Not a vital button, but it is useful to some people...it's an amazing skin, download it.

It seems as though everyone forgets those two buttons. I, for one, use them all the time. I love the thought of having 50 color themes but some of them are just butt ugly. Great work on the classic, stick, normal, mini modes. They are great ... oh and the idea of the play, next, prev. buttons on most of the windows is great! (Although I have seen it before, but nice implimentation)

i was waiting for like months to see the first real skin for winamp3. i really lost tons of faith for seeing all the crappy and commercial skins published everyday.thanks peter!!!!now i can finally uninstall winamp2 ;-)ps: i use classic mode

Watching this thing grow from nothing into arguably the best Winamp3 skin has been quite the ride. Mercury does not disappoint, though some might be confused by a few aesthetic decisions ie lack of a stop button. Works for me, though.
