Aol owns winamp?? If so that sucks, i really dont like AOL. Im convinced that aol is an overpriced virus!

...nobody said that this skin just receives 1 star because aol is bad. if you'd read properly, you'd see that it was just mentionned that aol advertisments are bothering...as you can see here, most people just rate it high because it comes with many free music and vids... but that's not the meaning of a skin. a good skin should be creative (not very creative this one, in my eyes), useful (ok it's useful, true), nice designed (is it? no, not in my eyes, but that'S MY oppinion!)and all in all you could expect more, as aol owns winamp...I expect a killer skin from them, but it's everything else than that.it doesn'T bring anything special except the free media... not even color themes and a totally useless blinking which you can't turn off and isn't looking good. it doesn'T even have a vis :( ... no 883, there's NO reason to give this skin more than 1 star, at least not for me. and this is NOT because i hate aol, it's just because this is a bad skin! (the only thing i like about it, is the glass effect of the shademode, but that's not enough for an additional star)

i can take having aol own winamp, but making a skin has gone too far for my liking. most of the music they have is total crap, none of my liking at all. i don't think i can knock the graphics, its not that bad, which is the reason it got a 2. if it wasn't for the graphics it would have gotten a 1 or a 0.also i just love the default winamp buttons in the media library, some of the best graphics in the skin if u ask me.the cpu usage isn't too bad, better than most skins out there. the display animation is hideous after about 20 mins of reviewing this, get an option or sumthing to turn it off.its not bad but its not good either. overall, a very underdone skin for a "big" company.

it's kinda weak to give a skin 1 star just because you don't like the company that has made it, and I don't see how this skin is not functional or badly designed.

Can't really say it's brilliant, they do give you songs but most of em are crappy. And the main screen thing looks too fuzzy.

Whatever it lacks, it makes up for it in variety and selection of the free videos (and music) it has to offer. It is a ad, but look past it and enjoy it. Only way you really can really say anything negative is if you hate AOL and didn't surf around.

Ok, bottom line, an ad. BUT!! Have surfed around inside? There are tons of videos and songs for free! Every genre - rock, hip-hop, country, classical. From what it looks like it updates daily. This is really good stuff. Gotta sometimes look beyond the ad..........

that's true, we REALLY have enough aol advertisment...and this skin... nice design, that's all... but a skin is more than design!and it was soooo clear that the stuff gives a good review.. oh man... pretty weak...

the meaning of a skin shouldn't be anything else than having a nice looking and functional design...what's definatly not the case here
