I really like this skin because it's like something from the Voltaic Age in Myst III (Exile). Very industrial and cool. Awesome skin! :)

the notifier were all I was waiting for in order to award this skin 5 stars. But with the notifier not fading out after a period, I had to give it only 4 stars. Still, great job Eps B. The thinger remains one of the best I've seen. The way it opens and closes is really neat.

Being different is very cool, and this skin is different. I love the lights on the blades which flash in tune with the beat, I also like the many colour themes to choose from, but waht is up with the buttons. I see there are some new symbols for the shuffle, cross-fade and repeat functions. Also the playlist buttons should have been kept horizontal instead of the vertical way that it is. Overall a good effort but I would be great if the x was spinning.One

This skin, technically and visually, is extremely well done. I really like how the skin looks, and the visualiser is awesome. BUT - a problem that I PERSONALLY have - (with this and many, many other modern skins) is that the borders for the (non-main)windows are far too wide. It takes up space where there is basically no point to take it. Although the design you have made with your playlist is new, works well and the idea of the spectrum analysers is good, it still feels that way, especially on the opposite side. (and then of course there are the actual regions where othere windows lock into). It almost has me convinced that modern skins are worth using. A worthy skin, despite some usability issues (that I have little problem with), of 5 stars.

Yes, I really ought to modify the skin, but it's not as easy as it may seem. The songticker font - if it's made any bigger it touches the border of the display and that looks shabby. The arrows - making them bigger would mean remaking the entire sliding cover from scratch (in a 3D environment) and their clearness varies by colortheme. The Vis - it's the Maki function "getVisBand" that's" probably buggy, because I tested it for another skin - same problem. The tooltips - the vis dissapears completely when one of them appears. The notifier - I'll implement it as soon as I've had experience with it in another skin I'm making at the moment.One thing disturbs me - where did the screenshot and thumbnail go?

X-Theme sports some nice features: interesting playlist editor layout, an unusually cool looking equalizer, and an amazing custom visualizer. Eps Eagle, I hope you make a revision. The Winamp staff has rated 4.5 stars--try for 5. My humble suggestions: (1) This is personal taste really, but the ticker font ought to be bigger. (2) Please add tooltips (again). (3) Make arrows to switch thinger bigger/clearer. (4) Try to solve visualizer bug (try replacing "setEndFrame" with "gotoFrame"?). (4) Consider adding a notifications feature. Do all this and X-Theme achieves the next level of awesome.
