The skin was modeled after radios from the 30's and 40's and given a few distinctly japanses touches to add to the flavor.Enjoy

Interesting idea, but visually it isn't well executed.
30's/40's radio vs. Japanese paintings is certainly a novel, though odd idea. It could've been and should've been far better executed though The layout of the windows looks a bit odd, but generic at the same time. The playlist etc. windows look ugly, and so does the text and the vis in the main window. The main window buttons also don't really look good. The EQ is ok looking, but far from great. It's an average skin that could've been much more with more work.

Very nice!
I really like the juxtaposition of an old-time radio with a Japanese scene in the background. In the 20s and 30s, Asian-inspired art was very popular, and was not unlikely to be found in stylish homes. I especially like the art on the "grillework" for the equalizer section. This is a terrific skin to listen to Swing Years on KUOW or radiomemories.libsyn.com etc.Here are some suggestions for improvements. I wonder if the equalizer and playlist sections could be more integrated with the radio-tuner part, so that when they are arranged together, it looks like a standard radio cabinet from back then. Anyway, thanks for a really nice Winamp radio experience!
