AidanAmp - A collection of cool OpenGL plug-ins

Five OpenGL plug-ins are included in AidanAmp:Dancing Can, Soundscape, Earthquake Bars, Spinning Name, and Flapping Flag.Dancing Can is a tribute to the old Power Render Dancing Can from days of yore, with new features such as bump mapping.Soundscape is a traditional spectrum/landscape plug-in.Earthquake Bars is a humorous take on spectrum bars.Spinning Name renders any text in 3D.Flapping Flag draws your favourite picture as a, well, flapping flag.Fun for the whole family!

However, some of these visuals are somewhat bland. I like the concept of the can... and it looks to be modelled nicely... but, overall, it's not all that exciting to watch.... it doesn't excatly dance as much as sort of sway to the music. The Soundscape feature looks good... nothing amazing... but, it works well. The rest of the features all work but are not exactly jaw dropping visuals. -dg
